Self Exclusion from In-game Purchases

I have been on live chat with EA and requested for my account to be self-excluded or banned from purchasing in-game purchases, I was surprised to learn however that this is not a function they offer. Although the advisor said they would feed this back to the team I thought I would also raise the issue here.

Now of course the first thing people will say is “have you got no self control?” And to answer your question, No, I don’t but that is completely irrelevant. I understand too that games companies who offer in game purchases make the bulk of their money from this so it makes no sense in that regard to allow people to ban themselves but this is not Fortnite.. You do not know exactly what you’re going to get when you purchase packs, and therefore it is a lottery, which falls under gambling. The ability to self exclude yourself from any form of gambling is paramount so that is why I am requesting for this function to be added to FC25 for all users who want to either remove temptation entirely, or just protect their accounts from unwanted purchases from children. 

I also know people will say consoles have these kind of options but really and truly they are not effective whatsoever and they are far too easy to overcome.
