State of play: more bugs than a rainforest

The magnitude and importance for the game and for people globally has been a catalyst for the love of the game. But the love from the developers for the game and the players has crumbled away.

It is clear that there is a gap in the fanbase and the strategy of company, who monger money with no regard for the abysmal state of the game and the cultural effect it has on the younger generation of football fans. The game used to be a source of education and a part of the culture of football, but no longer. Firstly, it is evidenced in the player emphasis, where photoshoots, media releases, celebrations and cringey commentary (0 football IQ arcade-like) were worked on way more than game mechanics and a huge number of bugs that affected every game mode and are constantly spoken in number and publicly available in forums and such, that is blatantly ignored in updates. Guess that wont affect the revenue, I hope it does.

There are bugs that were said to have been fixed but that is not the case, it is manipulation. The game doesnt feel finished. Clubs for example has had the same obvious bugs for everyone since day 1. Here are some of literally 100s of examples, in no order:

1. People quitting and no result in Clubs. (apparantly fixed, but not the case).

2. Made up stats pre-match in Clubs match intro. (testers would have seen this if they bothered to play the game once)

3. FUT Squad battles game crashing.

4. Clubs AI are horrendous, 1999 level AI, 0 spacial or time awareness, too much autonomy (overriding calls for passes)

5. Custom players changing features and skin colour randomly.

6. Clubs random formation changes and lobby players not entering the match.

7. Players (who represent Professional footballers) cannot perform basic tasks unless they have a playstyle plus (this is a terrible addition)

8. Referee AI is terrible.

9. Corners are broken, opposition have more chance of scoring from your OWN corner than you do. Everyone knows this. EA does nothing.

10. Too many Meta plays. This game requires a lot of balancing, the same meta exploits have been abused since the game got released, making it repetitive and boring.

Etc.

I have seen many many people talking about these issues for months, it is such a dark time for the game because there is 0 connection between the developers and the players. This game is under massive threat if a half-decent alternative were to be released, many people are highly dissatisfied and disappointed in this installment.
