Hi @PLAYClubJ1, I'm glad I could help you.
Regarding your questions about cross-play, you will find all the information you need here: Cross-play in EA SPORTS FC™
If you would like to, you can also turn off cross-play:
How to turn off cross-play
When you play EAS FC for the first time, cross-play is enabled by default.
Here’s how to turn it off or back on:
- From the Main Menu, open EA connect. Find this option on the bottom-right side of your screen.
- Open Social settings.
- Select Cross-Play, then Cross-play settings.
- Under Cross-play Enabled, toggle to No to turn cross-play off. To turn it back on, toggle to Yes.
You can also access this screen by going to Main Menu > Customise > Online Settings > Matchmaking Options.
To access it from Ultimate Team™, go to Main Menu > Ultimate Team > Settings > Matchmaking Settings.
You can’t enable or disable cross-play while in a match.
Help me please! I'm being paired to europe servers every game on seasons! The game is unplayable, ping is very high!

@LuccaBruno95 If you're being paired to a region that is far from your location, please try to set the preference to Approximate location matchmaking by going into Settings > Online Settings. - LuccaBruno957 months agoNew Traveler@EA_cuervo "Aproximate location matchmaking" is already on. Still, game keeps pushing me to distant servers, sometimes it takes less than 5 seconds to find a game, and still it takes me to a distant server. Been strugling with this for a long time now. Is there a way to block server that aren't close to me? That would be so much easier. I rather wait 10 minutes to join a match, than joining a high ping match. It's simply unplayable. Thanks

@LuccaBruno95 Would you mind letting us know which region you're playing from and if you're using any VPNs? - LuccaBruno957 months agoNew Traveler@EA_cuervo I don't any kind of VPN. I'm currently playing from Sao Paulo, Brazil. When I playing seasons or seasons coop, I always check my last 5 oponents to see where they're from. If I'm in a brazillian server, or some nearby server such as argentina, or chile for example, ping is always good, going from 12 to 30 ping. My last experiences I had with high ping were for the most part against players from US, and some from Europe. Those matches have a 120+ ping. Those games are found almost instantly, so I doesn't seems like the game is really trying to find a better option before landing on these oponents. Was matchmaking always like that? I don't remember having that many issues on FC24.

Same here, both on XBOX and PS5 with no VPN. EA FC 24 working fine (5ms), EA FC 25 always choosing opponents from Europe, with 120ms. Seems to be a EA FC 25 issue.

Have you received any comment on this? I'm still getting the same results as before... Going back to EA FC 24 until this is fixed on EA FC 25...

Im on PS4 and still playing FC24 Seasons. I’ve matched overseas people on exactly 120ms 6 times in a row now. It’s also been happening quite often ever since the game came out in 2023. The “appropriate location matchmaking” does not do its job.
