The game service area based on to match players

EA_cuervo, just to provide you more information, I play ultimate and coop on both EAFC 24 and EAFC 25 in the same console. The issue is only ocurring in EAFC25.

EAFC24 shows always 5ms on both ultimate and coop. EAFC25 shows around 35ms in Ultimate, and 120ms in coop.

EAFC24 always gets opponents from Brazil, EAFC25 gets opponents from Europe

Tested on both PS5 and XBOX One.

I run a lot of tests on both version, same day/hour. It's clear to me that the issue is related to EAFC25, something was changed in new version that is broken for us.

menezesw2EA_cuervoAnd I'm on PC, so this is problem is the same on platforms. Other friends of mine are having this same issue, and we all have diferent internet providers. As I said before, sometimes the lobby is found almost immediately. On FC24 that would happen if the game couldn't find a nearby match, then after a while it would take us to another server in order to find a match. But on FC25, the moment I press SEARCH, it take arround 5 seconds to find a game, on a totally random server far away from me. The worst part is that it seems my oponents are not facing the same ping as I, so it makes the game pratically unplayable.

I hope we are able to explain this in a way it makes sense.

Im on PS4 and still playing FC24 Seasons. I’ve matched overseas people on exactly 120ms 6 times in a row now. It’s also been happening quite often ever since the game came out in 2023. The “appropriate location matchmaking” does not do its job.
