We saw your positive reactions to the previous Gameplay Refresh Update and want to make sure we’re maintaining a consistent gameplay experience, so we are not making any changes to the balance of the game in this update. We’re addressing a stability issue during throw ins, and updating our Simulation Mode slider presets to better pair offline play with some of the tuning changes from the past update. We’re continuing to review your feedback around gameplay and will make further updates based on it in the future.
I personally wish it wasn’t true. They really need to slow the game down either by patch or reverting it.

That's not really concrete is it, if at all? What feedback did they see? Where is that feedback and what are the numbers? Seems EA are trying to save their skin by pushing out false narratives after their sales and share price plummeted.
The feedback here is clear (on their official forum) where many think the game is garbage in so many aspects. Initially I thought yeah maybe but given the whirlwind of negativity that has come since, here and other social media platforms, I'm not so sure the "majority" like it. I would estimate that possibly half of the 2m may have given up on this crap a while back and a lot of those that remain, some think the gameplay is crap overall and many others that may think it's good (although I've not read or heard many say this relative to those that criticise the game) so for EA to justify it's the majority, I call a bit on BS on that.

After the update, defenders became a bit slower, and most of us reacted positively, thinking it was a good change, as finally, there was an update that balanced things out for attackers and attacking play. There were indeed positive reactions, but they were very short-lived. After just three days, the defensive issue returned, and defenders were again able to catch up with the fastest attackers. However, EA thought we were satisfied with the update, which is why later on, EA tweeted that they hadn’t changed anything about the gameplay. The reason for their tweet was that players, after a few days of the update, complained that EA had made attackers slower again. But now, you still see that from time to time, they release updates and make changes as they see fit, but there's no clear improvement—it's all nonsense.
