Hi , I wanted to know if I would be able to play fc25 if I buy the game on the playstation store on my ps4 and in the future buy a ps5 and play with my ps5? Basically , just going to play on my ps5 but having bought the game on the ps4 with the same account.

@Ishish09 If you buy the game from the PlayStation Store, you will have both versions — for PS4 and PS5. You will be able to play the PS5 version as soon as you get the console, and you won’t have to purchase the game again.

Hey @Ishish09, FC 25 comes with dual entitlement, meaning that you can access the PS5 version if you later get one. If you look at the FAQ I shared: Does my progress in EA SPORTS FC™ 25 carry over from PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5, or Xbox One to Xbox Series X|S? All progress you make or content you acquire within EA SPORTS FC™ 25 Ultimate Team (including players, items, coins, FC Points, match record, and leaderboard placement) will transfer from PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5 and back, or Xbox One to Xbox Series X|S and back. Progress within all other modes including Online Seasons, Co-Op Seasons, Manager and Player Career, Clubs, etc. will be specific to the console you are playing on and won’t transfer between consoles. I’m having an issue with the FC 25 Standard Edition on the PlayStation Store. The description for the game mentions that it includes both the PS4 and PS5 versions. However, above the title, only the PS5 icon is displayed, and it only allows me to download the PS5 version.On the other hand, the Ultimate Edition shows the correct details and allows downloads for both versions. Standard edition also contains both versions, right?

Hey @Rafac_02, Looking at the above article: Does everyone get Dual Entitlement with the purchase of EA SPORTS FC™ 25? Dual Entitlement is available with the purchase of EA SPORTS FC™ 25—both Ultimate Edition and Standard Edition—at digital and physical stores So it should have duel entitlement alright. It might just be a preload issue, but I'll keep my eyes open just in case.

Thanks for the answer. I just have one more question. Does that mean that if I buy the game, I will have access to the game on both versions(ps4 and ps5) with only one time purchasing the game? Sorry I am confused that's why I want to make sure. Thanks again 😉

It's covered under the dual entitlement, so it should be fine. Just note that some physical stores also sell PS5-only packaged products which will be playable only on a PlayStation 5 console. But if you got it from the PlayStation store then you should be good.
