What are the odds? Disappointing experience with packs.
During the last months I had the following disappointing experiences when opening packs:
- General rewards packs: up until earlier this week none of my in game rewards packs (at least 150-200 packs) contained any special cards except for Team of the Week Players. Since this week I am getting other special cards again. Was this a bug?
- Special rewards packs with „Guaranteed Category“ Players, e.g. Squad Battle Elite Level Rewards: I only get lowest ranked players and always the same lowest ranked multiple times. Is this a bug or just extremely unfavourable probabilities for higher ranked players?
- Promo Packs: Once in awhile I purchase FC coins and buy packs. Recently I purchased two Fantasy FC (incl Hero) packs for 4000 FC coins each and got the same very low ranking Fantasy FC players twice! What are the odds? No Hero in sight, okay, but exactly the same super low ranking players? Really? I truely hope this is a bug, because if this how EA weighs the probabilities in these packs, then I will stop purchasing.
- Overall very disappointing experience with packs in the last 3 months. The game play experience has really suffered. There was time when my son and I were excited to unpack together. The fun factor of pack opening is basically gone. The packs are only good for feeding SBC but otherwise the packs are disappointing and almost useless. In fact, to me unfortunately it has become a very disappointing and annoying experience.
