Why do we waste our money

3-2 in the 120th minute in Futchamps, of course EA decides to throw me out of the game in the very last second and claim ‘lost network connection’

this is happening far too often, i can’t enjoy playing this game anymore out of the simple fear that i’ll be kicked out for network issues at any moment of the game, when i do a wi-fi test i have no speed issues, my PS5 is in the same room as the router as well!

so frustrating, anyone know of a perm fix?

@fewbvdfshmnbI know it really doesn't help saying this. But in all honesty the best connection will always be a hard wired connection. Do not let anyone else tell you otherwise as it isn't true. WiFi, as great as it is has draw backs for real time data flow. Online gaming should always be done hard wired.

Although I know the above isn't always possible this is a massive influence on connection issues. Other than that, who else uses the connection and are they saturating it with downloads etc...? As the game reserves the right to boot you if your bandwidth becomes minimal.

    Hope this helps.

PS, if it was EAs servers everyone would experience these issues. And according to the game sales there is millions of copies sold and there is not millions complaining on social media about being disconnected constantly.

You should also check out out the EA connection tool and view your stats from EAs end.

@blue166 Fair points raised my friend but I know for a fact @fewbvdfshmnb is not the only one highlighting the instability of their connection. There’s literally 100s of people I know & game with who have similar issues - some continue to use basic WiFi connections like myself whilst others use Ethernet/hard wired connections. The point is, it’s 2024 & we shouldn’t have to rely on hard wired connections to play a game we pay upwards of £90 for.

@riptide_80 I understand what you are saying.

Thing is. It's not EAs responsibility to know everyone who uses WiFI and make it stable for them. That's mostly out of EAs control. If someone is playing in the far corner of the house on one bar WiFi and it's flakes EA can't be at fault.

Also, the WiFi standard someone is using is out of EAs control.

What others are doing on someone's Internet connection.

EA can only take so much responsibility. The fact is that they know when there servers are impacted and experiencing issues soon before the players would know. This is a company with an infrastructure that detects region outages etc...

I understand the annoyances that it brings with disconnections etc... and EA would be at complete fault if every online player in every online mode experienced it.

As ever on forums we only here the negative comments towards EA and the game. Not many come to praise as with every product.
  • This is part of the problem of just always blaming ea. Sure there are times when ea needs to fix something. There are also times someone either needs to improve their connection or do something different in game depending on the issue.

Is it possible it’s on ea sure.  It’s also possible it’s witfi. More times than not someone complaining of delay or lag and dc they are on wifi.

People never seem open to try to take responsibility which seems to only hinder them or others when sometimes it’s not eas fault.
