I truly believe the game would be an absolute mess online full manual. EA should have forced this back when Tactical Defending was introduced. It's too late now with the way the game and patterns of play is ingrained. Full manual would just look silly with 2 yard passes missing the targets and tap ins being constantly squandered. Just my thoughts.
As I said before, Manual back on PES 3,4,5,6 and 2008 wad good. EAs full manual does not stack up to that quality.
Everyone has the same tools regardless in attack. Headers are possible and I see plenty fly in. There is an art to it but it's achievable.
You wouldn't see much in the way of this game on Twitch on full manual.

It is true that full manual is difficult and unrealistic, but the effect of assistance should be eliminated as much as possible. This game relies too much on assists, I doubt to me that the competitive nature makes any sense.
I think semi should be the default setting for at least all online modes.Semi requires a little more precise input than assisted. but it's not as difficult as manual. so once you get used to it. it's no problem.
There was talk of a pro event. It is very interesting that shot assists were banned in pro event. This is a good sign. I hope that in the future, passes will also be forced into semi.
