Will Thunderstruck card get ugprades if used in EVOs?

Wondering if Thunderstruck cards will be upgraded even if we use them in evolutions. 

An example would be the Kim Min Jae 86 card. He fits some of the latest evolutions, and his stats could still be upgraded by his team's performance.
