The game was really bad last year.There was no real defending.
The Dribbling and pace/skill moves abuse was extremely unacceptable on F24.
Now it is worse...
Yes we know that EA is making tons of money by Ultimate Team but do you really have to turn this game into an arcade machine?
It makes no difference to add numerous animation to the game every year.
This is nothing near a football simulation and we just have to play how the game desires,what the game desires.
Gameplay is like a circus ,defenders are like crash test dummies and attacking players can make the hardest skill moves one after another 5 times in a row.
It is nearly impossible to complete a match fewer than 3-4 goals total.
I am winning the matches but I dont enjoy anymore.
There is no feel of struggle or physical battle on the pitch.Even the best defenders are like loaded trucks and they are unable to react to the slightest moves of attackers.
Football is a game of physical battle .There is no match in the world like Vinicius or Rodrygo dribbles by all the opponents by making skill moves one after another constantly.
The game must be so much heavier on defending and scoring must be harder.There must be tactical war .Skill moves and dribbling should be reduced to abuse.
Shortly this is not a football game.
Can't agree more. I'm playing De Bruyne and Rodri, two of the best midfields in the world, and most of the time i'm struggling to let them make 2 passes to each other, while a guy playing Mbappe (by far the most overrated player of 2024 - had a terrible season at psg and a * EC) dribbles all my defenders 400 times, only to come back to do it again.
Tried to play Real once to see what the fuzz was about and there's really nothing to it. Every opponent's tackle came back in my feet, and Vini jr and Rodrigo are so fast that you can even run around defenders instead of dribbling them. It's just stupid.

There's a lot of feedback to take in here but we want to first say: Yes, we read the threads in these forums and pass along feedback to the EA FC team. Right now at launch these forums will receive a ton of feedback where we are doing things behind the scenes like merging multiple discussions together about the same topics to help create a bigger discussion to give the feedback more visibility. This goes the same for technical issues and bug reports where we're doing a lot of "clean up" on these forums pulling together many posts of the same topic and alerting the EA FC team so they can act on them, such as some examples on the Trello Board. So long story short, while you may not always see us dive into every thread, we may have still read it but focused on technical issues and bug reports.
Secondly, thanks for being fans since the 90s. Despite a lot of the feedback not being on the positive side, we do appreciate it to help us understand what we need to do to deliver on your expectations in the future. It's really awesome to hear there's community members here on these forums that have been around as long as us.
Lastly, please try to separate the feedback you have in individual threads related to the game feature you want to discuss. There's feedback in here from visual/art style, dribbling, getting passed defenders, and possession of the ball. As Community Managers it can be easier for us to pass along feedback to team when each post is really in depth on what the topic at hand is. If you're not able to find a topic that's already created in the search bar please kick one off (no pun intended).
@dal8oy138 made a good point about tactics where with every iteration of the game there will be gameplay differences. Come together and share tips. If possession of the ball isn't easy or it's hard to get past defenders, ask for tips from others, let the community know what formations you use, watch some pro streamers to see what they're doing differently, and share some footage here if you are looking for advice from the community.

the whole point of this game now comes down to who is better able to twist the left stick and do feints, if you even compare fc with worthless efootball, even there the gameplay is more like real football where there is a physical struggle, and no hockey scores like 7-6 or 8-7, but ea thinks it's fun when you score everything in a row, and when one player, just by doing feints, can pass half the team and score a goal 🤣
Can i claim a refund on the game? I didnt think you could make a game as worse as FC24 but you did it! Congrats. Worst football game ive ever played in my life
- @PhilSymo Depends who you bought it from. If from ea you get 24 hours or 72 hours if having technical issues once you play it.
They say there is no script, but 100% there is something dodgy going on, run, pass, and shot randomly change during the match. Maybe they are intentionally slide under the scene. The gameplay cannot be so AI heavy and players cannot change pace during the game so drastically. I play full manual but Ea randomly changes my player without clicking anything, I run on the side with Rafa (one of the quickest in the game) and a defender with 75 speed catches me with double speed. People with terrible defending take my ball from behind, cutting my player's leg in half with no fault given.
Trust me, guys, something dodgy is going on with this game, and they know it. Don't get fouled by PC specs, hardware updates, or connection issues; the game is the real problem.
- Passing is inaccurate especially through passes
- Fast striker (90 pace) can't pass defenders even if i am in front of them, defence most of the time will catch you
- Opps.CPU defenders get ball easly from you but your own defender they struggle to get the Ball
