The tactics are way different and actually if you take time to learn the game, make sense. I've been playing for a week and it was really hard to get past defenders at first but once you've set up decent tactics with half decent players, and if you're a half decent player you will see you can score and there are ways to enjoy the game. You've probably literally downloaded it and are a rubbish player.
Its a game. You want real football then get out the house!
So tell me, how's it to be a fan boy? Abusing gameplay mechanics knowingly, so that the opponents can't do sh*t about it, playing like as if you're in FIFA Street or the local circus, does not make you a good player. According to

Basically you're telling him that he's rubbish but wasn't it "really hard to get past defenders at first.." for you or was it?
