Account hacked | Support is just dissapointing

Hello guys!

The whole story begins like this and my downfall takes its course...

Even though two-factor authentication is enabled, I don't receive a verification code, which is what should happen when something is changed in my account. I also can't click the "Undo email change" link, it's not clickable.

This is EA's much-valued and highly praised account security, which will now be on the hacker's side. It has occupied me for the past seven days, spending countless hours and contacting EA Support in countless cases. I can predict the outcome: I won't get my account back, despite clear evidence that it belongs to me. Spent more than 250h ingame and now its worthless.

What was my evidence?

  • 1st Email for login
  • 2nd email (removed by the hacker)
  • IP adress
  • proof of purchase (for the game itself and EA Play, too)
  • EA Email where they could see exactly at which time the acc was hacked

Why EA does not want to give my acc back?

I don't remember my creation email address anymore because I changed and deleted it ages ago. I simply don't remember it! Ok, and now the hacker is safe? Really, EA? I honestly can't express in words how disappointed I am with the customer support behavior. I've written to over 20 representatives and, as I mentioned, spent days in support for nothing. A waste of my lifetime, truly sad :(

I've been playing since FIFA 13 with joy, sometimes more, sometimes less :) But this incident has made me never even look at an EA product again, let alone spend a single cent on it. I've never bought coins from dubious sites or just disclosed my data without caution. Then I would understand. Then it would be entirely my own fault if someone hacked me. But that never happened!

I have all the chats with the employees, of course, and would gladly disclose them if necessary. I'm still somehow hoping (for whatever reason) that I can get my account back. But apparently, the bottom line is: EA may protect hackers, but not long-time customers. Sorry to say so, but that's what I've experienced. I'm happy to answer any questions anyone might have, no problem....Maybe there's someone else out there who's had a similar experience?

Peace!
