can’t play at all

i bought the game awhile ago and when i tried to play it doesnt let me, when i get to search for a rivals game my screen completely freezes and my controller cant pick any options, when i try to play my career and get into a game or training my controller freezes and I can move my character at all. I haven’t seen anything abt this issue you before. It is making the game completely unplayable, there’s not one mode i can play
