Can't chat with support

I recently purchased Plants vs. Zombies GW2. It can't connect to EA servers because for some unknown reason my account was deactivated. There's nothing under my ban history. I was able to speak with support last night and the agent claimed, after verifying my account, that the email I gave him wasn't the one linked to my Playstation account and that he couldn't do anything. It absolutely is the correct email and I can verify this with screenshots or any other method you would like.

Today I try to contact support again and I can't get a live chat option to come up for anything. The hoops you have to jump through to get help on here are the most frustrating I have ever encountered. Idc if you guys delete my account so I can make a new one or reinstate it or whatever but I have to speak with support to make this happen and none of the links people gave in the forum that worked for them are working for me either. I click the contact us and it just takes me to another article. I click on the article then any and all li is claiming to allow me to talk to support and it takes me back to the same article. Please just give me a working method of speaking to an actual human who will fix the problem as all online features of all EA games are useless to me as is the entire game I purchased as it's entirely online. I'd also recommend somebody talking to whoever on the corporate food chain that is responsible for your broken and not easily accessible support system particularly when it involves issues that bots and articles can't fix. Thanks.

Hey 79abofitsk8a if our support have advised that the email you provided is not the linked one then this would be the case.

Do you set the option to email our support?

No. How is that done if you don't mind me asking? Regarding the issue with the email I gave my PS4 to my nephew several years ago. About a year ago he upgraded to a PS5 and asked me if I wanted my PS4 back because now my kids are old enough to play games now. So I'm guessing perhaps he did something to mess it up or maybe it's just some old email I don't remember but I've tried every email I can think of to no avail. Is there a way to just unlink or delete the old account. I've tried and tried to get back to the live chat with support and the option to chat with support is flat not there since my first chat and I've been trying for 2 days. I tried an email that Gemini gave me to reach out to EA and no response thus far on that either. I don't care about loss of progress or any of that on my old games as most of them were lost or ruined over the years anyway. I just wanted to play PVZ GW2 with the kids because I know they'd like it and playing an old $3 game has turned into this big super frustrating fiasco most of which is due to the fact that the EA support team is very inaccessible. I know it's not me because a plethora of Reddit posts spring up about my exact issue with support as soon as I google how to get ahold of EA support. I'd think there would be more concern on the part of corporate over this issue and dismissive support staff who find it acceptable to declare numerous people's problems unsolvable and screw them out of their ability to play games in part or as a whole and therefore their money. One thing I can't stand and that is all too common today are bottom line first customer last companies and, from my personal experience, and the perception of a lot of others in public forums EA seems to be one of these. It's a shame.
