Choose penalty takers screen froze

I am stuck on this "Choose penalty takers" screen i am pressing all the buttons and nothing is happening i pressed x and nothing happened. The background is still moving so the game didnt crash its a glitch. I am also only playing the highlights in career mode so maybe the hoghøights mode isnt made for penalties
