Connecting to ultimate team not possible at the moment

Why I can't able to login ultimate team for past 2 days... anybody facing the same issue?
I'm having the same problem right now. I can't start Ultimate Team because of the message. Sometimes I manage to log into Ultimate Team. However, I also get the message when I'm editing my team or doing something else.
A new patch has just been released. Even after downloading the patch and restarting the EA app, the error persists.
