EA linked my account to the wrong email
Back then I linked my playstation with MY email on EA account.
So I created my account 1st on EA and then linked with my PSN
My brother played Battlefield on PC, so he linked HIS email to EA
(It shouldn't overwrite my OWN account since we were operating on differents machine)
And I don't know why when I try to download any EA App, they sent me :" We've sent you an email on ma*******@hotmail.com" ... not my email as you can guess ...
I linked my email to EA, my brother did too on his PC, 2 separates machines, it's supposed to be 2 separates accounts too.
Not a "buggy" thing, now it would be really appreciate if you could repair that bug.
Thank you.
I would like to have a talk with an advisor so I can prove my identity if needed
Thx again
Hi @LordMzi,
I'm sorry to hear about the issue with your PlayStation account being linked to your brother's EA account. Understanding how linking works may help clarify the situation:
- On EA Help: You can link accounts by signing in to your EA Account using platform credentials.
- On Console: By logging into an EA game and entering your EA Account details, a connection is created. If no account exists, one is created with the entered details.
Please reach out to the EA support team together with your brother. They'll do their best to assist you in finding the best solution. Here's how to contact them:
Before proceeding, it's important for both you and your brother to be aware of the potential risks to unlinking like loss of game progress, DLC, expansions, and in-game purchases for games associated with that EA account. For more information, review this guide:
