Fc 25 Freezes on NINTENDO SWITCH

In the Item Pick screen in Ultimate team, the controls went non-responsive. I neither can chose anything, open packages or leave to the main menu. The only thing that works is the home button, which opens the Switch home screen. There I restarted the game, disconnected my web, and tried again, several times.

Everything else in FC25 works just fine, but when I open Ultimate Team I end up on the Item pick screen again with frozen controls.

The help suggestions (restart, disconnect) I so far found either don't work or are not possible to do on a Switch device.

    Found this- as my sons account was same. I went into fc companion and found 3 players/items and one was duplicated- I did something where it added and then I quick sold it and got rid of the other 2 outstanding picks. When I went back into ultimate on console ultimate was back up and running. When I spoke to Nintendo before this they thought it was a bug and to contact ea but have got out of it so there is hope.
