FC24 Points to FC25

Recently, my girlfriend bought 16,400 FC24 points as a gift, totaling over £100. These points are currently sitting in my account, but I am unable to use them for the new game, FC25.

I understand there is an option to transfer points at the start of FC25, but given that these points were a gift and my girlfriend didnt know, it is unacceptable that they were still being sold as FC24 points, particularly when the new title has already been released.

After redeeming the code via EA APP, I realized that these were FC24 points, not FC25. I am confused as to why these points are still available for purchase when they are no longer relevant to the latest game.

When I reached out to the store where the points were purchased, they advised me that EA should be able to transfer these points online. Additionally, I was informed by one of your colleagues "Sourav" that the in-game technical team could resolve this issue at no problem.

However, after speaking with a representative from your team called "Vipen", I was told that nothing could be done.

 As it stands, my girlfriend is out of pocket for £100, and I am left with 16,400 points that I cannot use on the game I am currently playing, FC25. I have repeatedly requested to speak with a manager, but these requests have been ignored, which is extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I would like to request an immediate resolution to this issue, either by transferring the points to FC25 or providing a full refund so i can place the order of the points on the new game FC25.

I hope this can be resolved promptly to avoid me having to escalate this further. If I do not receive a satisfactory response, I will be posting about this situation on social media and contacting my bank to dispute the transaction. I look forward to your prompt response.

    When helping with certain issues, like account changes, points transfers and so forth, we must verify that you own this account. We want to make sure we’re not compromising your account, so we can’t help out with your issue currently. CMs also do not handle these types of account changes as we are not live support and we don't have a way to make that type of account change.

     

    You can contact our live support on our Help Site. To request a chat or open a case through email:

     

    • Select the EA App
    • Select one of the account issues like I cannot log in
    • You may get a pop-up that says login and get faster help
    • Select Continue without logging in
    • This should give you the chat/email option

CMs also do not handle these types of account changes as we are not live support and we don't have a way to make that type of account change.
