FC25 game controller problem

The game doesn’t recognize my controller at all—it only picks up the mouse and keyboard. I got the game from the EA App, and I'm using a PS4 controller. I’ve tried everything, including solutions from Steam, but nothing’s working. Just so you know, my controller works perfectly with other games, no issues.

My biggest issue is with the offline career mode. In FUT online, the controller seems to work decently. I own an Xbox One controller, Steam is not installed, all the controller drivers are up to date, and the operating system is also updated. The career mode are in simulation mode.

When playing in career mode, if your team has possession of the ball, your character seems to function satisfactorily. The problem arises when your team loses possession. When your team doesn't have the ball, it feels like you have to struggle three times harder to control your character. It seems like the game takes the last input and repeats it until the next input is registered. However, the game only registers the next input about 1-2 seconds after you press it, which in a dynamic game like EA FC, this is enough to cause a lot of anger and frustration...

Did you ever get this problem resolved?

I also have this issue. I cannot seem to get 2 controllers to work in the game. They work just fine on steam but not in the game. I have an Xbox controller and a hyper x controller. I turned off steam support and that didn’t seem to work.
