My biggest issue is with the offline career mode. In FUT online, the controller seems to work decently. I own an Xbox One controller, Steam is not installed, all the controller drivers are up to date, and the operating system is also updated. The career mode are in simulation mode.
When playing in career mode, if your team has possession of the ball, your character seems to function satisfactorily. The problem arises when your team loses possession.
