EA FC 25 online lag – Account routed to USA servers from India ( proof attached)
Hello EA Community / EA Support,
I am experiencing severe and unplayable lag in all online modes of EA Sports FC 25.
Offline gameplay works perfectly fine.
I permanently reside in Punjab, India. I have tested multiple ISPs, LAN connection,
DNS changes, cache clearing, reinstallations, and all recommended troubleshooting
steps, but the issue persists.
I ran a traceroute to EA servers (easo.ea.com / 159.153.71.17).
The traceroute clearly shows that my connection is being routed from India
to servers in the United States (Washington DC – Zayo network), resulting
in latency between 350 ms and 500 ms.
Because of this routing, EA FC 25 online modes are completely unplayable
from my location.
Important detail:
The game was purchased on my EA account by a friend while he was in the
USA/Canada region. Due to this, my EA FC 25 entitlement appears to be
incorrectly tagged to the North America region, even though I live
permanently in India.

(India → USA → EA servers).
I kindly request that this issue be reviewed and escalated to the
appropriate account or network team, as it appears to be an account
region / entitlement routing problem rather than a local network issue.
