FC25 Input Delay, Slow gameplay & Menus & frozen cursor

The gameplay this year is way too slow/ unresponsive. The goalkeepers are also not improved upon that includes Keeper movement and saving animations. The menus are delayed and not working as well as last year. Zero responsiveness. As soon as a go to my store it kicks me out 50/50 or just freezes really disappointed how the game has started out so far. 

Everyone I play can trap and dribble perfectly and anytime I dribble/pass/shoot/trap it has an incredible delay. The switching is horribly slow. I’ve played around with settings like crazy and it’s just a horrible experience. Fc24 was the worst ever made and it’s still more playable than whatever this is. 

It's unplayable. No skill gap whatsoever. Just spamming through balls all game and let the assisted and automated defending do the rest.

I am on PC and for some reason this year when I play online it is the worst delay I have ever had. Feels like a good 2 seconds before the player responds to any commands. In squad battles it feels fine so something is going on with the online play. My opponents don't seem to have the same issue.

I have the exact same issues. I’m also on PS5. The game is unplayable. I know we say that a lot here, but as of now, online is literally unplayable. The lag/delay makes it impossible to play online. And, like you said, in Rush, it locks my player for 2 seconds and he’s just running to the other side of the pitch.

I have been playing FUT since day one in March 2009, and since then, have been through a lot of crap from EA. But this is something else. Paying lots of money for Ultimate Edition just to not even be able play online? Is that a joke?

This has to be the worst fifa game to date. Everything is so slow. This new passing system they have managed to break something that wasn’t needed to be fix is beyond me. 

I have to spam buttons to do anything in the FUT menu’s. Trying to quick sell or press a button on a player takes at least 5 times before it works. 

I’ve played many fifa’s but how they have managed to go backwards this year is terrible. Fix your game.

After tweaking my system for 2 days, I've found a way to minimize stutters/fps drops, so it goes as follows:

In Nvidia Control Panel:

Go to "Adjust image settings with preview"

• Select "Use my preference emphasizing" => move the slider towards "Performance".

  Go to "Manage 3D settings"

• Choose "Program Settings" => add "fc25.exe" (if not present) => scroll to "Power management mode" => choose "Prefer maximum performance" => scroll to "Texture filtering - Quality" => "High performance".

  Apply all changes then exit.

Open "system configuration" by hitting Windows key then typing "msconfig":

• Under General tab, select "Selective startup" then tick the three checkboxes.

• Under Services tab, "select Enable all" => Hide all Microsoft services => Disable all

• Under Services tab, enable only Nvidia and EA processes

• Press Apply then Restart your PC

In FC 25:

• Choose your desired graphic configuration based on your PC specs. (Basically DONOT go over 1920x1080 resolution)

• Turn off all play styles indicators.

• Turn off all Hypermotion effects.

Anyone else pretty much only concede goals based on the delay? The switching/ tackling / passing delay causes 90% of the goals my opponents score. I’ve changed every setting imaginable including camera and it won’t stop my center back from being in my own net, making a simple pass so weak the whole team collapses or switching to a damn striker when someone’s running into my box. 
yesterday after a corner, I had three defenders back and all three ran away from the line sticker who received the ball. By the time it switched to closest man the ball was already in the back of the net. 
this is a horrible experience because you feel like you have no control. No point in playing a video game if the gameplay or AI is just going to decide to screw you randomly.
