FC25 becoming unusable on PS5, overheating all the time despite me following all the guidance to clean it, cool it, position it upright and not enclosed. There are various similar posts on here reporting the same issue. To clarify, other games do not cause the same issue so it’s isolated to this game
What is being done about this, your silence is deafening EA!

Update 2: over past 2 weeks have tried this game on 2 brand new PS5 slim consoles and both overheated within 30s. Managed to get retailer to swap out the console for a 3rd time, this time for a PS5 disc version. Game plays fine. I either had two defective PS5s in a row or this game is somehow not compatible with the non-disc version of PS5.
It is now quite clear from the replies that we can narrow down the over heating issue to the FC25 digital (not disc) edition on the PS5 Slim console.
EA what are you proposing to do about this? Do not hide behind the ‘clean your console’ response, this is NOT the issue!!
Soon the FC26 will be released and we have had a year of not being able to play this game properly. It cost £90 will you refund?
Just don't buy the next title. EA aren't game developers, they dint care about the quality of what they make, only that it sells. The only way we will see a better product, is if the sales are low.
3 months old PS5 disc version, well ventilated and dust free. Still overheats.
I’ve tested my console playing games like cod and forza horizon 5 without turning it off for 24 fckn hours and no overheating at all. at this point idk what to do

No,its your game that is broken.Fix your game for the sake of the people who play your games...if that matters to you of course. Its clear that either you want to push us to buy the next chapter, or you just don't care!
