OMG!!!
I thought I was going crazy. I also have a less than 1-month-old PS5 controller, and mine has been doing the same since the last patch they pushed. I have switched to my old PS4 controller, which does the same thing in the menu and even in matches. They have never done this since the latest update. I play the game on Steam/PC, and I've been looking everywhere for a fix. Hopefully, EA can fix this!
Edit: I would also like to add that it was working perfectly fine until the recent update on the 30th of April. Also, the best way I can describe my issue is when in-game and in the menu, my controller won't always respond to my movements and may act like it has a mind of its own.
