FPS Cap not working after new update

For some reason my fps cap stopped working and whenever i enter the game my fps just go all up to 200-300 and its actally a pain because i own a laptop and when i am playing the game it is just overheating (80-90ºC) all the time because EA **bleep**ed up once again do any of u have the same problem?
