Game black screens when loading into rivals game

Whenever I try to play a rivals match it always black screens but eventually pops up with the skip prompt but I'm not able to skip and will just been stuck with a black screen, when I load the game up again it hits me with a DNF penalty. My GPU drivers are up to date.
