Game Controller Double Input on PC.

The game has been creating a double input out of the blue. I've been playing this game since the beginning without any game controller issue until now. I have not made any changes to my system. Now, I've tried disabling and uninstalling the controller using device manager however I'm still getting this double input problem. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled the game along with running the EA desktop app recovery, yet I still have this issue. I only have a wireless keyboard and mouse and an USB microphone connected to my computer.

I have no idea what other possible troubleshooting solutions to try and I cannot find any help through forums or the web in general. I would really appreciate your help.
