Using the NVIDIA App, I set the game to run in windowed mode, and while it launched successfully, the performance was riddled with severe stutters, making it unplayable. I then disabled Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling (HAGS), restarted the system, and the game ran smoothly without freezing the PC. It appears that FC25 is incompatible with HAGS when using the latest NVIDIA driver. I’ll make a note of this for future gaming sessions with FC25. However, I plan to re-enable the feature when playing MSFS2024.
Absolutely bang on. Especially if you have gsync/freesync on - HAGS needs to be off for it to work with this game. For some reason the in-game display hz dont match up with the set fps this doesnt necessary means disengaged gsync but you will feel the lag-heaviness in controlling the players. I confirmed this using RTSS overlay with fps vs display in hz info with HAGS theres always a desync between them and with HAGS off its perfectly synced and runs smooth as you said. They really need to implement updated frostbite engine like in bf2042 which is optimized wit HAGS. Unfortunately it wont happen because in the end this game is built as a card gambling simulator for kids rather than a logical football game. Offline modes are heavily monotonous and scripted. As for online meta tactics are the king and kids nowaday are just ruthless sweats, exploiting every bit of gameplay glitches like pressure tactics and speed boost.
