Issues with Xbox to PlayStation coop lobbies ultimate team

am unable to join my friend through ultimate team both of us have cross play enabled I can accept his invites and it work but I cannot send him any as I only get a message saying unable to invite try again later and name can’t be found in coop lobbies. What can I do to fix this as I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled, unfriended and then refriended. Any help appreciated
