Logging in on Swithc (Child account)

I had to borrow a computer to download EA app to create a child account.

But when he is going to log inn on the switch and he enters his date he gets an error. If we try to use the QR code we need to type in an e-mail address the EA ID is not good enough.

I tried using my e-mail adress and his password, that did not work.

Back on the EA app on my childs account, there is no where I can add an e-mail adress.

From my account I cant add him there, as I have to enter his e-mail address for it to be sent to him.. and guess what, I can add his e-mail adress in his account.

How can I fix this?

Why is it so bloddy hard to do this in a userfriendly way?

This whole EA account thing is ridiculous, how hard do you have to make it?!
