Menus are slow and freezing

I’ve had an issue on the ps5 version of fc25 the last few days where I am having to wait literal minutes to do things such as booting up the game, going into my objectives tab in ultimate team, searching for a match, going into the store and many more things.

The weird thing is that my gameplay feels fine but the menus are so unbearably slow that I can only play around 3 games an hour. Many times my menus have just froze and I need to restart the application 

I initially thought it was my network but I have tried other online games and I have had no issue with slow menus or gameplay. I have tried reinstalling the game and using other network connections but the problem is still occurring
