If you both connect halfway then you will both have terrible gameplay. You guys are just to far apart.

I play shooters with friends from Bulgaria, Netherlands, Canada, US all in the same server. Ping is around 100 for some of them, but gameplay is fine. EA have just bloated their game to ruin.
