Online Service disabled - PS4 - EA FC 25

My 14 year old son pre-ordered EAFC 25 a couple of months ago on his Playstation 4 account. He installed it this morning but keeps getting the message: "Online service is disabled on your Account ...

We have exactly the same issue. Seems to only be an issue on PS4.
