PC – Controller not working in Clubs

Hello everyone, I pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition to play early on September 19th, feeling genuinely excited and full of anticipation — I’ve been playing this series since I was a kid. However, this year’s experience has been extremely disappointing. There’s a major bug on PC where the controller doesn’t work in online modes, and after reading several posts, I realized many others are facing the same issue. In my case, the problem only occurs in Clubs mode, which is the main mode I play with friends every night. Compared to players who can’t even play FUT, it’s still a disaster. Bugs happen — that’s understandable. But what I don’t understand is why this issue has been marked as “investigating” on the EAFC Direct page on X since September 19th, and yet no real fix has been delivered. The only response from the admin team so far was to switch to 60Hz. I tried that, and it worked temporarily. But after the latest update, even 60Hz doesn’t allow playing Clubs anymore. It’s really disappointing that a company as big as EA can be so slow in fixing something as fundamental as controller functionality — arguably one of the most basic aspects of gaming. I’m genuinely questioning what EA considers its fans and loyal players to be at this point. — A long-time fan who just wants to play with friends.
