PC to PS5 pre-season rewards / companion app access

Hey @Stojko4,

There's really three questions here, so I'll do my best to answer all of them:

  1. The benefit of linking your PSN and EA accounts is that you can't access online features without doing so. So if you want to play Ultimate Team on your PlayStation, you'll have to link an account.
  2. There's no way to transfer pre-season rewards between platform families. So no, you can't do them on PC an then get them on your PS5 (Although you could do them on PS4 and then get them on PS5 for example, but that doesn't really apply here).
  3. You'll be able to use the apps with your UT on PlayStation, yes. You'll just need to sign in with the linked EA account from point 1.

Thank you for the quick and detailed response. I have quick extra question now.
I'm not sure about the web app release but from what I've seen online the date for the web app is the 18th (4 days from today).
Would that mean I can access the web app with my PS5 account on the 18th or would I have to wait until I get the game on the 27th to first log in and create my UT on the PS5 account and only after that I can access the web app / companion app?

    You'd have to wait until you can actually create an Ultimate Team on your console, otherwise it either won't show up at all or will inform you that you need to log in to Ultimate Team first.
