Hello,I have been playing this game for the past 8 years now. From FC 24 onwards, I’m unable to join a rivals game striaghtaway. I load onto rivals, go to the kit selection screen and within 20 seconds, get the message “Your opponent has left the match”. I needed one last win yesterday, sat down for 6 hours and got no game at all. Might have repeated this cycle for about 200 times I think.For those of you talking about NAT Type and what not, I’m sure everything seems to be alright there since I do find opponents in a flash in the PS5 version and in other game modes in PS4 and PS5 versions.Like me, I think there are thousands of people facing this issue, especially in India (or Asia as a whole). Again, this issue is only subjective to PS4 and not PS5. If any EA employee can look into this and roll out a patch related to this in the latest old gen update, it would save me and a thousand other people a lot of time.I really hope this issue gets resolved asap. Please feel free to contact me for any information that might be required.

Same problem as everyone else for the last two editions of eafc so following this thread closely.Today for the first time this issue was happening in fut champs. At first I just thought it was fussy players backing out for home/ away reasons but the error message always came around the 12 to 14 second mark on the counter and went on for at least one hour.Very frustrating. Cant play rivals or champs now. Awful experienceConsole - PS4Region - India

Not really sure if you guys are going to bother about this error at all. I have this same issue as well on my PS4. Cannot play Rivals or Champs since "it says Opponent has left the match" at the 13-14 sec countdown mark.

Some of us get only few hours of time sometimes in 2 or 3 weeks and this happens. it is so disappointing and feels why do i waste my money every year on this game. this year i was very hesitant to buy the game. from last three weeks i am not able to play rivals, online draft is working fine. I have also tried almost 100 times and it say opponent left. sometimes i feel if you have a evolution player in your squad who is inbetween the evolution not at the start and end of the step than this happens. EA please fix this i don't know when i will get time to play next.

I found that a workaround to it is to change the matchmaking type from solo only to any and vice versa every time this happens. Hope EA fixes this though

Sadly, this doesn’t work for me either, I’ve tried all sorts of ‘workarounds’ but to no avail :/

It stopped working for me as well 😖😖 just gotta wait for EA to fix it I suppose. It’s my first time trying to play UT has the issue been fixed on previous fifas?

I am facing the same issue in my PS4. Unable to play rivals because of it. Shows 'opponent has left the match' other rush events works fine. I guess the issue lies in Ea servers of Indian subcontinent.please help EA

@EA_Pulsar it's really hightime now I played 2 games normally in division rivals, and then again the same issue started yet again . I really wish you look into this matter fast.

its already been a month with this issue another weekend ruined. funny thing is when i change matchmaking settings of location and cross play and save there also its says opponent left match. which match the opponent is leaving there 😃

Same thing happened to me I was super confused. I’m sure it’s a bug now and it can only be fixed with an update. I think it’s best to play offline modes until that day comes and not keep getting annoyed with the bugs
