Just got this game as a gift and splurged on the game pass in order to play online. Have been sorely disappointed by my inability to connect in Rivals. I have no problem getting a game in FUT, but after “initializing” a game Rivals consistently gives me the “your opponent has left the match” everyone else is reporting. I’ve attempted to start a match probably 40 times at this point and I’ve connected successfully with an opponent exactly 3 times. Pretty ridiculous average for a game that makes gazillions for EA.
I’m sort of shocked to see this thread is already nearly six months old and EA has scarcely acknowledged the issue let alone fixed it. Suffice it to say I won’t be recommending FC25 to anyone I know until this basic functionality is addressed. Is it too much to ask for someone from the company to offer some solutions. I see folks posting the info requested by the EA Manager and the only reply is crickets. Not gonna bother posting all my info if it’s just gonna be a waste of time, but happy to provide it if someone from EA is actually working on this.
Wrote “FUT” but meant “Rush.” I can connect fine in that game mode, just not Rivals.
