Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try loading ultimate team on a PS5
What happens when the bug occurs? I cannot play ultimate team. Each time I load up, the game takes an age to enter the main menu screens or crashes/unable to connect to servers multiple times. On the odd occasion I do get into the menus of ultimate team, the game takes 10minutes just to load and then crahses. It took me an hour to open all rival rewards last week and have not been able to play a single game.
What should be happening instead? The game should be working.

    I think it's related to your squad because I deleted all my squads via the companion app and it worked again briefly, until it then crashed again and back to the same issue.

    Any Help please EA?

    Thanks for reaching out. Which ISP are you using? We've had some reports that BT subscribers are having these issues.

  • I have BT, can you confirm when an update will be ready for this on BT? 

    You have hundreds if not thousands who cannot play since your latest update.

    There is no ETA on a fix for this. I have submitted the report so it can be investigated.

    Again, this is not an issue on our end. It would probably best to wait until the ISP has resolved it before playing again. It would also be good to power cycle your network and console/PC if others are saying it's working now so that your cache is cleared.

    Such a cop out.  I've grinded to get into finals, paid for packs, now when I need a little bit of common sense and fairness as a customer I'm told "not our problem,  don't play the game"

    And one person, one, had said its fixed, which I've proved immediately it isn't as have hundreds of others. We've all power cycled network, we've all reinstalled the game yada yada. It's a problem that is only affecting your game,  whether it's BT or not. Every disconnect when I'm winning comes back as a defeat. You could be totally reasonable about this.

    @Stu_Laudrup1873 I only said it may be fixed because I suddenly got lots of messages on Reddit telling me it was over. I tried to log in and it's working here too. Just my evidence something changed.

    I am being reasonable and this is not a copout. You're more than welcome to keep playing, but until your ISP gets this resolved for everyone, chances are good you'll continue to disconnect. I suggested power cycle because even if it has been resolved by the ISP, it's possible you still need to clear the cache from your home network and console. I absolutely understand the frustration. Unfortunately, there is very little we can do at the moment. We are going to have to wait until this gets resolved by the ISP.

  • Also happening to me since Thursday when BT/Openreach had an outage. Continuous freezes and disconnects mid game. Guess I'll be skipping champs this weekend. 

    I do have an engineer coming to me on Tuesday to potentially change my router (unrelated to this as I've been having issues with the Internet for around a month anyway), but if they change it and it fixes the issue I will report back here

    People calling the ISP and saying their EAFC 25 isn't working are going to get no where. You're saying wait for the ISP to resolve it, but the ISP will have no idea where the EA servers are.

    I can see my FC25.exe connected to a ton of different IPs all over the place, from AWS in America to Google in London. Only EA know where the disconnects are happening, and even if it isn't something you can fix directly, you are the only ones in a position of working with your hosting/network vendor to liaise with the ISP and get it fixed.

    UK is one of the biggest if not the biggest markets for FC 25 and BT are by far the largest ISP here. You would think EA would be putting more effort into resolving, unless there is already conversations happening that we're not being told about.

    Our team is aware of the issue and investigating it. The best I can say for now is that you should just keep checking every so often to see if it's working again. There is no troubleshooting that can be done in the meantime.

    Hi BT, my internet is fine but I've got a problem with a video game. Actually, just one very specific mode in that game, the rest of it works fine. It's impossible.

    For your investigation though - something changed around 7pm (23rd Nov) where it worked for about 90 mins. It's now as broken as before.

    My ISP provider is BT/EE and I have had this issue since Friday 22nd, even logging into the companion App is erratic.

    "Connecting to Ultimate Team is not possible at the moment. You will now be returned to the Main Menu." is what I see constantly on the console today (24th).

    Update 13:00PM  BST

    Finally able to login to UT and play 2 rival games as normal. Hopefully it stays that way 

  • Day 4 without being able to play a game I’ve paid £100 for, EA mod has literally said don’t play the game until it is resolved, a day being down is acceptable, I understand things go wrong but 4 days is pathetic. Can’t play weekend league, can’t play rivals, can’t play rush, can’t play squad battles, missing out on all objectives for season points, can’t even do SBCs without it crashing

    We all should be compensated hugely

    We won't be. I asked for my games in WL to be voided as I was winning them then got losses due to disconnects. They said not our problem. EA does not compensate customers who suffer. It's just not part of their remit.

    It's not EA fault guys. I'm facing the same issue in other games like Tekken and League of Legends. This is issue is because of Openreach, we should complain to Openreach not EA.

    l can play ea fc 24 ultimate team but not ea fc 25 

  • Are we the players who have spent a lot of money on the game and in game currency which has probably lost value since getting this bug. Going to receive compensation for this?
