For me as well, after downloading the new patch, I've been having this issue again.

Can you please restart your game, and just in case, delete the existing settings folder from this location C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Local\EA SPORTS FC 25 (App Data is usually a hidden folder, so it can be changed from the View dropdown.).

Additionally, repair* the game from the EA app to make sure everything has been installed correctly.

This is ridiculous, surely you would think they would test it before releasing the new patch! Yet again PC players have to suffer for having equipment far superior to consoles, I've tried deleting settings & repair & still exactly the same, it isn't as extreme as last time, only really happens if you L1 dribble backwards for me but still, how was this patch allowed to be released with extensive testing on PC is beyond me EA!

Isn't that enough? We pay 70$ for this game every year but there is still no improvement. It's been months since the game came out but we could only spend 2 weeks without this l1 bug and now we have to play with this bug again with your new update because of your irresponsibility. And we still don't get any rewards or anything to compensate for this. Just think how many points we lost in weekend leagues because of this bug. We can't even do l1 speed boost, which is still the strongest mechanic of the game. And we have to pray that our opponent doesn't do it so that we can play the game properly. On top of that, you still think that the problem is with us and suggest ridiculous solutions like deleting files, repairing them. We all know that it's back with this update

I honestly can't believe we're here AGAIN. The fix provided does not work. Repaired and erased Settings folder. Still the same. How can this game be allowed to be out like this? It is constant issues. All throughout the game. This will be my last fifa game. This year is reaching levels of ridiculousness that I did not believe possible and we're just in NOVEMBER!!!

Shut the game down. Refund people's money. You have no shame. 

This doesn't fix the issue, which was solved with Title update 4 and reappeared with Title update 5. I couldn't use L1 dribbling for 3 weeks, now it's back again. Shame. Devs can't be seriously sitting there and posting about how good game this is.

Hello EA Team,

I’m posting here because the L1 lag bug in FC 25 continues to ruin the gameplay experience, and EA has not provided a fix despite many player reports. Here's the issue:

• Pressing L1/LB for strafe dribbling causes major lag, stuttering, or complete loss of player control. This makes the game practically unplayable in all modes, both online and offline.
• The problem began after a recent patch and persists despite various attempts to fix it.

I’ve tried every solution recommended by the community:

1. Limiting FPS to 60 – no improvement.
2. Reducing graphical settings and disabling overlays – nothing changed.
3. Verifying game files and reinstalling – still no results.
4. Updating all drivers and disabling optimizations – the bug remains.

Same issue, and EA still doesn’t care about us! This is unacceptable, especially for a game that costs so much. Players are losing out on weekend leagues, SBCs, and rewards due to this bug.

Please make fixing this issue a top priority and release a hotfix immediately. It’s disappointing to see such little response to such a widespread and game-breaking problem. Compensation for affected players would also be appreciated.

Again! After the last patch the game is freezing on the pc for five days! I cant rivials and ut champ and rush and battle. I loosed many matches because of it ? What will you doing for me ??
