Squad battles AI overpowered since update

Same to me, it`s more difficult...

They have crapped all over difficulty levels. professional to ultimate all feel same except in professional you're slightly more responsive (artificially boosted stats not the lag - lag is always there cuz the physics of this games engine is ancient). Also, stop calling it Artificial intelligence, its barely even Machine learning- these garbage overpaid coders don't even know what train test splitting is. Plus Im pretty sure theres no real model instead just a bunch of policy based if statements which they will laud as contexual AI and FCIQ bs and what not. Never spending a dime on Eafc, Im so done. 

Will try and get some recording… tried today and had 4 players side tackling within a few seconds with one taking the player out without the ball in the box (no card or penalty). And yet I walk into a player with Haaland and get red carded… 

Tried again this morning after the maintenance in the hope something has changed, but basically have learnt the following:

•  can barely keep an 88 rated team to zero in legendary
•  can barely keep a 92 rated team to zero on World class
•  can no longer make any circle challenges, the AI will pivot or pass as soon as the button is pressed and then counter you
•  the AI now ends up with the majority of possession on both world class and legendary, mainly because of above
• the AI is now behaving like meta rivals players
•  the AI seems to respond to your inputs immediately, e.g. slide tackle as soon as you start a skill move, tackle as soon as you try and shoot in the box, pivot as soon as you challenge

 If EA wanted to increase the difficulty they should have educated the community on where they should fall after the update. To think this is a beginner mode that results in incredible frustration because you can’t even get the ball to do anything with it. Now Elite 1 will just be for hackers. Totally ruined a casual mode 

Same it’s now bordering on the ridiculous, it’s making me not want to play the game anymore, the tackles and the aggression and also the speed of passing is actually out of hand now .. if a child is playing this it’s almost teaching them that violent aggressive football is acceptable .. the tackles the Ai put in and get away with is not football ..  I could hold my own against world class and even legendary with slightly lower rated teams, I’ll be honest I’m struggling on professional now against 94 full chem teams ..I’ve lost the last two in extra time to ridiculous goals that I had absolutely no chance of stopping ..

you can feel the game shift in the gameplay and all the opposition players start doing that weird dribbling..also it’s like your players back off or run past instead of tackling ..the last game I lost 1-0 but I had 5 one on ones with keeper which I’d usually bury and I either skied it, hit the post or the keeper pulled off an impossible save .. my players start playing like idiots, they can’t pass, tackle or score ….SORT IT OUT EA ..it’s supposed to be a game to play for enjoyment ..it’s actually made me fed up ..I won’t be paying for it again next year unless these horrific gameplay setup miscalculations are sorted out …it’s A GAME .. !!!!

I understand the complaints and frustration but I don't feel that the ai is overpowered, at least from my experience. I also don't have the option to play the multi-player modes, so unless and until there are more gameplay options for players like myself, a decrease in difficulty would be unfair to our experience and ability to enjoy ultimate team. I’ve took loads of recordings today mate all leg breakers that would be an instant Ted for us ..out of 8 only 2 got a yellow the rest didn’t even get a warning ..I’m going to send them in the need I am 😂..absolute joke against rated teams it’s like they hunt you down trying to break your legs ..that’s not fun!! slso even the commentators are in on it the brush it of as .50/50.,the evidence I have speaks for itself

Padge7887​ I would love to, and I would show you how I treat those defenders if I could figure out how to upload my own videos without a YouTube channel or playstation app. 

I know about those tackles, but for me it just makes them vulnerable to an array of skill moves and dribbling. I don't mean to discount what is being said, I just like the challenge, and I don't want it to be taken away because of players who have other modes that are challenging want it to be easier. I am by no means a hard-core gamer, but I have sharpened my skills over the years to the point where every offline (outside of ultimate team) mode is boring to me, and I wish that more people would push for more single player modes in ultimate team. I want you to enjoy the game, but I need someone to want me and others in my position to enjoy the game. By the way, I don't know about you but I have only gotten red cards for DOGSO.

I think your misinterpreting what people are getting at, the gameplay is unfair, very unpredictable and frankly not enjoyable and for me personally ultimate team is the one place I can go and switch off all the noise and play a game I enjoy playing, recently that’s not possible and that is because of a “gameplay experience tweak” during the last patch ….I believe you that you’ve not experienced it there’s others too, but there’s a hell of a lot more that have and to try and invalidate that can come across a bit **bleep** if I’m honest mate … I work in technology the gameplay update won’t affect every single user it will be a targeted algorithm with factors dnd keywords .. I wish I hadn’t experienced it 😂…
