How long show a player stay on suspension after getting a red card? I’ve played about 20 games now and still my player is suspended

You have to leave the player with the red card in your reserves players for your active squad.
Sending them back to the club doesn't remove the suspension. Once left in the reserves it usually takes 1 game to remove the suspension.
