Unable to log into UT

I was playing earlier and all of a sudden got kicked out. Since then every time I try to log into Ultimate Team it come up with the message 'Connecting to Ultimate Team is not possible at the moment. You will be returned to the main menu.'. I'm also unable to log into the companion app. Is the game down or is this an issue I can resolve?
