Unable to retrieve your kick off names data.
I recently picked up the game and was excited to dive into some matches. Initially, everything was running smoothly, and I had a great time playing. However, now I’m trying to play a quick match with a few friends, and we hit a frustrating snag. Whenever we select our teams, an error message pops up on the screen stating, "Unable to retrieve your kick-off names data. Please try again." It’s such a disappointment! I’m hoping to find a solution to this problem so we can get back to enjoying the game together. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

i tried to turn off my internet and start the "select sides" page offline and turn on my internet again when im choosing my team. turn on live updates and it works
Me too i by pass it by not selecting a site when selecting sides on classic kickoff and leave joystick in the middle then then advance to go and choose teams and start the match as if both AI are gonna play against each other, then go to select sites and select the team that you want.
Here are some additional steps that helped resolve similar issues that you can try while we look into it:
1. Delete personal settings profile and create a new one after launching the game.
2. Change difficulty to default.
3. Don't select a side (keep the joystick in the middle and advance).
