Black screen issue when loading into a match

Tried to load into a match and was met with a black screen. The screen would flicker every once in a while to an empty field. Sat there for about 5 minutes and nothing happened. Restarted my eafc 25 and it counted the match as a forfeit. This makes it so that I cant complete the 15 matches and get my extra pick. Is there a solution to this? Missing old ea support btw....

    I’m literally stuck on the black screen as we talk. Not sure how long I should leave it to see if it will throw me out naturally

    You still waiting? Or did you restart your game? When I would bring up the xbox menu it would give the forfeit warning too.

    I am still waiting but nothing has happened. Mine is exactly the same. Gives the forfeit warning when you bring up the Xbox menu

    I just submitted a ticket on the ea app. Kind of crazy that you can only report an issue on the app and not on the actual website or game. update? still waiting?

    I ended up quitting out of the game. I waited about 30 mins and nothing happened. It’s a shame really and I hope they can resolve the issue. Where in the app do you go to submit a ticket?

    Well I looked at it again and it says it wasn't an actual ticket it was just reporting a "bug" and it didn't create a ticket. But if you click on the 3 lines in the top left of the ea app on the pc then go  help>ea error reporter and then you just put in the issue. Yea hopefully they do fix the issue soon. If this were incorrect pack weight on good cards they would have had this fixed in minutes tho....

    I contacted them today and yesterday about this. First response was they trying to tell me it my connection but i know it wasnt. Second time they told me the higher ups will take a look at it. I also told them to check the forum page because everyone is having this same glitch.

    Yea they're probably not gonna handle this at all. Kind of crazy to have an objective based on playing a set number of matches when they can't guarantee a good connection on their end.
