Bought all promo packs - not one single great player

My opponents all seemingly have Mbappe and a horde of ICON players - i have bought every single promo pack available, spent hundreds and still didnt get a single one of the above. 

With this latest promo i got 3 promo cards - the lowest rated 3 cards.

I have played ultimate team since 2011 and never got a great card, even though i have spent thousands and thousands on packs. 

Why? What do i need to do? 

Im not buying another pack, never, until this is remedied, ill keep my money for literally anything else rather than useless packs - at least in other games when you buy in game content you actually get the content youre paying for.

    @915d938332194d49 People spend thousands to get those players. Even then they usually don’t pack them. It’s the value of everything they use to trade and keep reinvesting.

    With evos and how cheap good players are besides the few top players I wouldn’t bother unless you’re going pro. You won’t be packing all the top players.

    I dont want all the top players, just like one or two. 

    How come my opponents seem to all have them, i really dont get it. 

    I dont even have fodder to do the SBC's i want, after buying so many packs, i feel targeted tbh.

    Maybe stop buying packs? Understand the meaning of "GAMBLING" my friend.... that's all what this micro-transaction pack-opening ecosystem is all about.

    @915d938332194d49 That’s basically everyone. Although people do the sbcs with fodder and don’t spend anything. They used to do a sbc thread those guys were good at doing it without spending. So that is possible.

    How can you have spent thousands then claim to have no fodder to do SBCs.. I've not spent anything outside an original 12k at the start and have enough fodder to do any of the lower priced SBC's easily.. as well as like 600k in the bank.

    Either you are doing it all wrong and discarding everything you get in packs or something isn't adding up.

    And now that EA has given us SBC Storage, it's easier to keep duplicate cards for SBCs - we used some of ours yesterday to do the Iwobi SBC. 

    High OVR cards can be nice to have but my opinion is that many of them are often no better (and often worse) than cards people will say are fodder. Last season, for example, we were lucky to pack a gold Mbappe in the first two weeks - he was nowhere near as good as our gold Werner and Nunez cards.
