Champ wins not counting

I was winning a fut champs game 8-3 and the opponent quit and for some reason i was stuck in the post match screen. I waited 20 minutes nothing happened so i restarted the game and was hit with the DNF message and the game resulted in a loss for me. I have the video of it on my ps5. What can be done to fix it i need to contact customer support uk but nothing is working and im going insane.

Im certain the guy i beat quit in a way that caused this to happen as it took him a minute to quit whilst not doing anything in game.

Happened twice now in this weekend league never had this problem before.

Is there even a fix for this? Is there even a point posting anything on here?
