Champs games don't count towards the "become immortal" objective

As it stands, i've wasted a whole day of grinding this evo because apparantly when your player is in process of an evo (a become immortal evo) he doesn't count towards the champs objective.  Because...

I am ok with 3 of 4 change. I finished 5 games, but two were wasted cause my player was in progress of the 90-91 evo.
I hope EA team is monitoring the community for user feedback given that we are all paid users.
