Double walkouts weird

This has been bothering me for a while but the walkouts seem to be messed up, or is there thinking behind it I am missing? 

You get the colour for the special card, then the position, team details etc but the details end up being for a gold card item. Why do we not see the details for the best card? You’ve no idea what your card is until the second one pops out.
